This is one of the episodes of the civil war in Donbas.

The film was shot in Odesa in the autumn of 1924. The flooding of the mine was filmed in the baths of Lysakovych in Odesa. 

The film was included in the first issue of VUFKU’s newsreel Makhovyk (Flywheel).
