Grandfather Maksym’s sick calf is sprinkled with bewitched water by a witch doctress. It does not feel any better when sprinkled with holy water or surrounded with holy images. The calf is dying. The old man calls a veterinarian who saves his calf.

The film was included in the first issue of VUFKU’s newsreel Flywheel.

The film was shot in the autumn of 1924. The film was first demonstrated in October 1924 in Odesa.

The film is lost.
